Other bugs... i can't change user... When i try the pc freezes
to better explain: i can change user, but when i try to come back to my user the pc freezes and i have to reboot.
Could it be the video card that is too old? I have a Amd Radeon HD 6450
its definitely a bug lower down in the stack - at kernel level in the nvidia/forcedeth network driver or possibly radeon_ring_* driver. pretty much your only option is to upgrade your kernel. linux-image-generic is 5.19 is a bit outdated, maybe install linux-image-generic-hwe-22.04 and you will be running kernel 6.5.0* which will have received an enourmous amoount of bugfixes. secondly your system seems to be running old versions: Sistema operativo: KDE neon 5.27 Versione di KDE Plasma: 5.27.5 Versione di KDE Frameworks: 5.106.0 Versione di Qt: 5.15.9 strongly recommend to upgrade to the latest version with plasma-discover
i have already upgraded with plasma disover and i've nothing more to upgrade but i still have the bug... Operating System: KDE neon 5.27 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.10 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.113.0 Qt Version: 5.15.11 Kernel Version: 6.2.0-34-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 4 × AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor Memory: 3.8 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD CAICOS
Please, how can i install the latest kernel linux-image-generic-hwe-22.04?
how do you normally upgrade your system?
with discover
maybe i have to run apt dist-upgrade?
Created attachment 164158 [details] Discover this is my discover just now
possibly discover doesn't show kernels. sudo apt install linux-virtual-hwe-22.04 in a konsole
I've done sudo apt install linux-virtual-hwe-22.04 but the result is: Operating System: KDE neon 5.27 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.10 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.113.0 Qt Version: 5.15.11 Kernel Version: 6.2.0-39-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 4 × AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor Memory: 3.8 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD CAICOS
uname -a Linux vale-systemproductname 6.2.0-39-generic #40~22.04.1-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Thu Nov 16 10:53:04 UTC 2 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
apologies was misreading your kernel version. you still moved from 6.2.0-34 to 6.2.0-39 ... does suspend work??
Unfortunately not yet, maybe i've a too old video card

It's not a big problem, don't waste time, going blind and with ctrl-alt-del + return I go back to login. :-)
