Created attachment 159016 [details] Video Sometimes my taskbar freezes. In order to restart it, I made the following script. For convenience, I put a folder with all the scripts in the "View Folder" widget. If I launch the script from the widget after restarting the computer, the error I recorded on the video will occur. If I immediately run the same script, but from Delphin, everything works fine. After that I can run the same script from the widget and the error won't happen. As soon as I restart again - if I first run the script from the widget on the taskbar - the error repeats. Until I run the same script, but from Dolphin. The script itself is in ~/.sh/
Lets try to focus on the bug itself that prompted this workaround, and not any bugs stemming from the use of the workaround. :) The bug is: > Sometimes my taskbar freezes. Let's refocus on that. Do you by any chance have an NVIDIA GPU, and does this happen after you wake the computer or a monitor from sleep?

Yes, that's right, I have Nvidia :) I don't notice a pattern in the taskbar hanging up. It hangs even when I'm just modeling in Blender, for example. I had an RTX 3070Ti, now I have a 4080 and the problem is still there.
Thanks. Are you using X11 or Wayland? And does the issue happen on both platforms, or only one?

Got it, thanks. In that case, this issue is Bug 469016, which is on our radar screen. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 469016 ***
