After a new plasma release you get a new wallpaper if you use the default wallpaper. At an blog post I read, that the plasma release cycle will be changed, cause it's a lot of work to get for every release a new wallpaper.

If there is a new plasma release I want so know something about the new features, so it would be nice to see at the notification widget an Informationen about the new release where the user can click and get more information about the plasma release. If I don't click, I don't want to have more information. In addition I can show more users the support and get involved stuff.

There are a lot of really good plasma wallpapers. I don't want to switch them every 6 months. See an widget about the option of a new wallpaper where the user can click and change to any other wallpaper would be enough. In addition it would be nice to have the older plasma wallpapers also available at the wallpaper dialogue.

Promote new features after an release not a new wallpaper. I want to use plasma at it's best and not the wallpaper.
