Samples of font size. The smallest occurrence is the actual size of menu and tool bar fonts.

SUMMARY
***
Font for Menu Bar and Toolbar barely readable (too small)
***
The font size in the recently downloaded AppImage (kmymoney-5.1-477-linux-gcc-x86_64.AppImage) is even smaller than the one I used before.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start application

OBSERVED RESULT
Font for Tool and Menu Bars too small. Headers of columns and text in line items is fine.

EXPECTED RESULT
Font for Tool and Menu Bars should be larger / adjustable.

The attachment looks fine to me, but it is not KMM. It appears to be a bug report (I don't speak German, although others on the list do) and there is no indication if those fonts have been altered in size from how they appear on your screen. Is that the actual screen shot you intended to attach?
Can you confirm that other KDE programs have "normal" size fonts?
In the Configure KMyMoney... dialog in the Fonts section, is "Use system fonts" checked? If not, what fonts are selected? If so, what are your system font settings?

Jack:

The attachment in my ticket is composed of two individual screenshots,
both from the shown KMyMoney AppImage version (upper part is
Help/Report bug; the lower is Help/About) in German.

The only other KDE application I am using is KDEnlive, and its menu
ribbon entries and fonts are easily legible, i.e., same size as my
other (non-KDE) applications.  Compare the font size in this screen
shot (the upper two lines are from Gnome Evolution, the active one in
front is KDEnlive):

In KMyMoney, I am not using the system fonts for the simple reason that
this setting will render the font of the individual transactions and
their column headings smaller; I am using Noto Sans 11 pt.  Changing
this setting, BTW will not RPT not affect the type and size of the MENU
fonts.

Back in November of 2022 I had started an unofficial email dialogue
with Thomas Baumgart about this shortcoming of KMyMoney in its AppImage
version (see enclosed message in German - am sure Thomas will
remember).

The AppImage version I was using before I reported the font size issue
in my current ticket had this problem, too but the font was tolerably
legible as can be seen from the next screenshot (taken from
Help/About):

In comparison to the samples in my ticket the latest version has lost
its legibility considerably.  Let me know if you need more information
