SUMMARY *** Whenever you attempt to launch apps via the icon-only task manager nothing happens, but using Krunner and shortcuts like Super+e apps launch fine. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. use most recent version of fedora linux 2. try to launch an app from the icon only manager OBSERVED RESULT App does not launch EXPECTED RESULT App launches SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 38/ kde 5.27.4 KDE Plasma Version: kde 5.27.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.105.0 Qt Version: 5.15.9 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I have observed this behaviour on an AMD laptop and INTEL laptop after upgrading from 37 to 38, and on the INTEL laptop after reinstalling fedora (i havent tried reinstalling on the amd one)
If you mash the keyboard modifier keys and then try again, does it work? If not, can you please reboot, reproduce the problem, and then paste the output of running `journalctl -b 0 --user-unit=plasma-plasmashell.service --no-pager` in a terminal window? Hmm, the content there spans multiple hours so it will be borderline imposible to find the needle in that haystack. Can you narrow it down a bit by doing this? - reboot - immediately reproduce the problem - immediately open Konsole and run `journalctl -b 0 --user-unit=plasma-plasmashell.service --no-pager` - copy and paste it here into a comment
