SUMMARY When rendering a video with Full Color Range enabled, any same-track transitions appear to distort the colors of the portion of the video they cover. Namely, those regions of the video become more "washed out", as if reverted to limited color range. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create timeline with two separate full color range clips 2. Place them one after the other, then add a same-track transition to them 3. Render the video with Full Color Range enabled OBSERVED RESULT Portion of track covered by same-track transition looks more "washed out", a noticeable change in color compared to immediately before and after the transition. EXPECTED RESULT Color remains "correct"/not "washed out" through the transition. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: 6.3.1 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.105.0 Qt Version: 5.15.9 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Color looks correct in the preview in-editor. It is only the rendered video where the transition looks "washed out".
There was a Bug fix about color in MLT framework lately. Please try with the daily AppImage of 7-Jun-2023 if the issue still occurs. https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_appimage-centos7/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/
