Description John Veness 2023-05-06 11:18:29 UTC
SUMMARY

If you open Dolphin with the "Show on startup: Folders, tabs, and window state from last time", the keyboard focus will be on the tab bar rather than the folder contents as expected.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Run Dolphin
2. Open at least two tabs in the same window
3. Menu, Configure, Configure Dolphin, Startup, Show on startup, choose "Folders, tabs, and window state from last time"
4. Close Dolphin
5. Start Dolphin again
6. Press a cursor key

OBSERVED RESULT
Cursor key up or down do nothing. Cursor key left or right change current selected tab.

EXPECTED RESULT
Cursor keys change the currently selected item in the folder (or left/right keys collapse/expand folders if using Details view mode). In general, the folder content pane is expected to have the keyboard focus at this point, not the tab bar.
