Created attachment 158552 [details] Desired position of the new tab button It would be nice if we could place the new tab button on the right side of the tabs. To me it's much more intuitive, convenient and makes sense to have the new tab button on the right, because new tabs appear on the right, not the left. Also, most applications nowadays (e.g. Firefox, Google Chrome, Windows Terminal, macOS Terminal, etc.) place the new tab button on the right, so it would be familiar to many people.
I would also be interested in this. If there are too many people that prefer it to stay on the left side, I think it can be an option (after the "show new tab button"). Personally, I would be fine with either it being stuck on the right of the last (right most) tab, or alternatively it can be with a static position at the end of tha tab bars holder. Either of those would be better for me than the current position to the left of the tabs.
