Description Ben Guy-Williams 2023-04-27 08:09:06 UTC
Starting up Arianna brings a list of items in local directories which I did not want automatically add.

Calibre has a total of 1676 listed which I want to be able to open in Arianna, but I only want Arianna to remember selected books on the front page.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Flatpak Arianna (as version 1.01 crashes with` "KF5KirigamiAddons" that is
compatible with requested version "0.8". ` error)

2. Nothing else required - it opens and has no menu until you find the oddly located settings button.

3. No option to edit colours (see Foliate for an example) and apparently no option to modify the font. With Foliate, these are easily accessed via hidden menu options).

OBSERVED RESULT
Options limited and instantly forgotten upon restart.

EXPECTED RESULT
Experience approaching that of Foliate.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I will test again with the next release.
With the AUR installation around 605 kb vs the Flathub version at 172,600 kB I will wait until it will build from AUR.

Further comments - finding a chapter (Ctrl_T) was absent, as were context menu options once a book was loaded).
