Description Kalcifer 2023-04-26 20:57:40 UTC
SUMMARY
Maximising some apps (Discord, Firefox, Bitwarden) leaves a very thin gap on the right side of the maximised window that shows the desktop underneath. Other apps that are unnafected would be things like Konsole, Discover, Dolphin, Qbittorrent.
Firefox, Discord, Bitwarden, and Qbittorrent are installed via Flatpak. All the other apps would be installed via the Arch Linux repos.

Please note that this is not an exhuastive list, it is only the apps that I have tested thus far.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Firefox (I have the Flatpak version)
2. Maximise the app
3. Observe that there is a very thin gap on the right showing the desktop through it.

OBSERVED RESULT

EXPECTED RESULT
I would expect the app windows to maximise properly with no gaps.

Can you attach your .config/kwinrc file to the bug report? Also it would be helpful to have the output of `kscreen-doctor -o` and `xrandr` commands.

Through troubleshooting, I have since found that the issue was with Wayland. I have since reverted back to X11, and all the issues went away.

However, if you would still like the output of those two commands, I can give you them.
