Description Manuel Fierlbeck 2002-08-24 14:56:16 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

package: konqueror
version: 3.0.3

If kdelibs are compiled with "--enable-dnotify" a device mounted from the=
=20
desktop is held in use until all Konqueror windows are closed.

How to reproduce:
- open some Konqueror windows.
- mount a floppy by clicking on a floppy icon.
- close the window listing the directory of the floppy.
- try "unmount" on the popup menu of the floppy icon.
- an error message dialog pops up saying "device is still in use".
- If you close _all_ Konqueror windows you can unmount the floppy.

This usability issue doesn't occur if kdelibs are compiled with=20
"--disable-dnotify".

Greetings

Manuel Fierlbeck
