What distribution are you using? (I assume the report of Linux is correct.) I can't think of any obvious reason for this, so you might try running from command line, just to see if there is any helpful warning or error message displayed to console. Also, do the Views other than Home and Reports display correctly?

That seems truncated - I usually see a lot longer output. Is a data file open? Also - what distribution are you using, and do the Views other than Home and Reports look OK or not?
(In reply to Jack from comment #3) > That seems truncated - I usually see a lot longer output. Is a data file > open? > Also - what distribution are you using, and do the Views other than Home and > Reports look OK or not? Hi Jack. I'm not sure why my last response got lost or something. Thanks for looking at my output file. I am using linux on a distribution called PCLinuxOS - Kernel (6.1.20-pclos1) 2023. The output file I sent in was from opening KmyMoney from the console. It opens right into my datafile. Is there a log file I can send you for further information? All other screens appear to be working correctly. It's just the Home Screen and the Reports that are having this problem. Please let me know what further information I can provide. Thank you. Jim Ladino
Please don't include the original text to your email answer. It ruins the view on our bugtracker. See yourself on https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=468936#c3. Thank you. Looking at https://pclinuxoshelp.com/index.php/Available_desktops I noticed that a few desktops are supported by PCLinuxOS. Which one do you use? The two views in question are based on an HTML rendering engine whereas the others are based on KDE and Qt widgets. So the cause of your problem is certainly to be located in the HTML area. Can you try running an appimage version of KMyMoney? It needs to download a single file, make it executable and started. It can co-exist with your installed version. You find a link to the latest appimage and instructions on https://kmymoney.org/appimage.html.

Hello, I would like to bump this bug report, I am seeing a similar same issue in AsahiLinux with Wayland I have been using KMyMoney for many years now but I usually use it on my x86 laptop with Xorg and I don't see this problem. The HTML reports in the home screen and in the "Reports" section have a white background as expected. But on my Macbook Air M1 running AsahiLinux with Wayland, these HTML reports have a very black background which makes them hard to read. Everything else is presented as expected, like the ledgers (white background). I suspect Wayland might be the problem here. Have the developers tried KMyMoney with Wayland?
I am using Gnome with Wayland and it does not display that way. I know that in the past, when I had both Plasma and Gnome installed, if I set the KDE Plama theme to dark, then came to Gnome, Kmymoney will show as dark themed. Basically the problem you are reporting. Did you set any settings for KDE anywhere?

I am also seeing this on my MacBook Pro. The home page has the blue horizontal stripe and the bottom section is white. I was using KMyMoney for a long time and am seeing this issue after I installed the latest nightly build (DMG file) from the KMyMoney website.

Hi! I am new to this community. I tried to use KMyMoney and I could continue since I started to need reports. Can I help in any way? I am running the version found in "kmymoney-5.1-1840-macos-clang-x86_64.dmg" in a MacBook Pro M1 chip. Best regards, Danilo
You are better off offering on one of the mailing lists or other forums listed at https://kmymoney.org/support.html. Posting on an old, closed bug will get very little visibility. When you repost there, please state what type of help you can offer. Bugfixing is always needed.
