I can't reproduce the problem here on openSUSE Tumbleweed. The changes to the toolbar are retained. As far as I know, there were no changes here either and we use the KF5 API completely for the toolbar configuration. Maik
I can confirm this for added colour labels and ratings, while other changes, like "open with default application", stick as expected. Noticed this with early 8.0.0 weekly builds. Windows 10 and 11. Mudo J.
