Created attachment 158302 [details] Close visual approximation of bug SUMMARY When activating a region select with Spectacle 23.04, HiDPI displays display incorrectly. The bottom approx 1/3 of the screen will be displayed, and then it's as if the window was moved up from the bottom and the bottom 2/3 are displayed overtop it. I cannot take a screenshot of this unfortunately as it ironically does not come through on a screenshot. I created and attached a visual approximation of what this looks like to accompany the description above. This worked fine before the Spectacle update to 23.04 today. I tested using a 4k display @ 150% scaling. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Activate region select with Spectacle 23.04. 2. HiDPI displays will not be rendered correctly. OBSERVED RESULT Incorrect visual on hiDPI displays, making it difficult to take region screenshots on these displays. This only affects the region "preview" and actual screenshots turn out fine. Similarly, the screenshot corrects itself in the delay between saving/copying the screenshot, and the Spectacle region interface closing and the screenshot sound. EXPECTED RESULT HiDPI displays should look the same when region select is activated. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux (6.2.12 Zen kernel) KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.105.0 Qt Version: 5.15.9 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Have only tested Wayland. - As noted, this only affects HiDPI displays.
