SUMMARY
The Scanning project files dialog blocks interaction with the application completely, and at certain conditions the dialog does not go away.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set Kile options to reopen last projects on start up.
2. Remove/rename one of the project files.
3. Launch Kile.

OBSERVED RESULT
The application asks what to do with the removed project, but interaction with that dialog is impossible because everything is blocked by the Scanning project files dialog. Even if you are quick enough to choose and option before the scanning progress dialog appears, the progress dialog stays open forever, blocking any UI interaction with the main Kile window.

EXPECTED RESULT
Errors when loading projects closes the progress dialog.
