I am using Global Menu 2.0. Some applications I have do not show the Application Menu on launch. 1) Simply add Global menu to the Application Bar. 2) launch the application (E.g. Chrome). The menu will not show. 3) minimize and then click to display again, the menu shows. 4) Close out of Chrome, 5) Repeat steps 2. the Application Menu does not show. Here is the list. Looks like they all have something to do with using some Atom engine. I'm afraid Plasma 5.25 is unfortunately no longer eligible for support or maintenance. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one. Please update to Plasma 5.27 as soon as your distro offers it to you--in this case, by upgrading to Kubuntu 23.04. If you need support for Plasma 5.25 with your current version of your distro, please contact your distro, who bears the responsibility of providing support for older non-LTS releases.
