STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install app
2. Set timer, with notification set.
3. Observe sound.

OBSERVED RESULT
No sound.

EXPECTED RESULT
A sound during notification.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I think it was because the notification setting was referring to and non-present file on my system.
