This is not at all about printing (i.e. putting things on physical paper) is it? You're reporting that it doesn't show correctly on screen when viewing a PDF file, right?

No exactly. If you go on the homepage and dowmload the paper and open it with firefox, the symbols are shown correctly. Just when you open in okular it is not correct
Update to the latest version and it'll be fixed.
