I am noticing a problem with the desktop icons: the contents of the deskop are not in sync with whatever contents are in the user's Desktop directory.
I am using a multi-monitor setup through a TB4 dock.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use "Folder view" for the desktop layout.
2. Use the Desktop folder for the location.
3. Have some icons in there.
4. Change the contents (add/remove files/folders)

OBSERVED RESULT
Contents are not in sync.
See attachment.

EXPECTED RESULT
Contents should be in sync.
