Description Naxdy 2023-04-13 07:58:48 UTC
SUMMARY
When an exception is made to a recurring event, e.g. description/attendee change, in a way that it only affects one occurrence of the event, the calendar plasmoid views this exception as a new, separate event. This has been tested with Google Calendar.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a recurring event in Google calendar
2. Make an exception to one occurrence of the event (tested with attendee change), but keep others the same
3. Open Akonadi console to confirm an entry with recurrence type "Exception"

OBSERVED RESULT
Kalendar shows only 1 event, the calendar plasmoid shows 2 seemingly identical events (unless the title has been changed on the "exception" type event)

EXPECTED RESULT
The calendar plasmoid only shows 1 event. In the case the title has been changed in the "exception" event, it should show the updated title.
