Created attachment 158024 [details] No KDE option at login after upgrading from Plasma 5.25.5 to 5.27.2. SUMMARY Following the instructions here https://kubuntu.org/news/plasma-5-27-2-for-kubuntu-22-10-available-via-ppa/ left me with no KDE option for desktop STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. I started with a working installation of Kubuntu 22.04 LTS (with other desktops also installed) 2. I successfully upgraded to Kubuntu 22.10 by following the instructions here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/KineticUpgrades/Kubuntu 3. Reboot 4. I followed the instructions here https://kubuntu.org/news/plasma-5-27-2-for-kubuntu-22-10-available-via-ppa. 5. Reboot 7. The login screen did not give me the choice of KDE, just GNOME, MATE, Xfce, Ubuntu (see attached image) OBSERVED RESULT No way to login to KDE Plasma after upgrade to KDE Plamsa 5.27.2 EXPECTED RESULT KDE Plasma given as a login choice for the desktop by the desktop display manage. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 22.10 KDE Plasma Version: KDE Plamsa 5.27.2 KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I attempted to make this change so I could test the bug I was seeing in KDE Plasma Version 5.25.5, which I reported here https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=468340
