This leads to me inadvertently changing volume to around 50% instead of switching to the desired task rather often. Additional observations: - regular window previews without multimedia controls sometimes float way above the actual panel as if they were leaving space for such controls - I haven't seen that in X11 sessions yet Operating System: Gentoo Linux 2.13 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.105.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 Kernel Version: 5.15.88-gentoo (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ m7-6Y75 CPU @ 1.20GHz Memory: 7,2 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 515
Weird. Can you attach a screenshot that shows what it looks like when this is happening? Thanks!
Created attachment 158011 [details] overlapping
Created attachment 158012 [details] floating above
Thanks!
I have seen this too. I noticed that if you open a tooltip with media controls, let it close, then open a tooltip without that, it opens "floating above", at the same y-position as the first tooltip. If you let that tooltip close and open it again, it opens normally. Now if you let that close and go to a tooltip with media controls, it opens overlapping the task below, again at the same y-position as the first. So clearly the y-position is getting reused across instances when it should not be. Exactly where it is happening I'm not yet sure.
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #4) > Thanks! Just a note since you changed $summary: dolphin in screenshot #2 would not contain media controls at all, but is not touching the panel.
