Created attachment 157962 [details] Image file which illustrates the issue. SUMMARY Whenever I set the accent color to be based on the wallpaper, every time I set a black, grey, or white image as wallpaper, the accent color is set to blue instead of a monochrome color. Occurs at least on Wayland. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set the accent color based on wallpaper in the system settings. 2. Set a monochrome image (black, grey, white) as wallpaper. OBSERVED RESULT Color is set to the default blue palette. EXPECTED RESULT Color should have been set to a shade of grey. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora Linux 37 KDE Plasma (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.104.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Graphics platform: Wayland
Occurs on X11 session as well.
Can reproduce. Looks like in this case it falls back to the color-scheme-provided highlight color. This *may* be intentional but I'll agree with you that it feels like a bug. Gray accent colors are fully supported so IMO it shouldn't fall back to the color scheme highlight color here.
