STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open DigiKam
2. Select any photo and start the slideshow
3. Close slideshow

OBSERVED RESULT
After closing the slideshow Digikam stays open for a few seconds and then closes.

EXPECTED RESULT
I would expect Digikam to stay open.

Problem is already fixed in digiKam-8.0.0, a test version of the upcoming digiKam-8.0.0 is available here:

https://files.kde.org/digikam/

If you want to go back to an older version later, make a backup of the database.
