Description Andrew 2023-04-07 14:00:12 UTC
SUMMARY
***
If you run a game from flatpak version of Steam, the task manager will show a sound icon for the Steam client instead of the game that is actually playing the audio. It works properly on RPM version of Steam.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Run a game from flatpak version of Steam
2. Let the game play some audio, such as menu music
3. See that the game is missing the sound icon on task manager and is shown for Steam client instead

OBSERVED RESULT
Steam client is incorrectly shown as the source of the sound

EXPECTED RESULT
The game should show that it is playing the sound, not the Steam client
