SUMMARY *** I put it in "makjor" as moving files without additional clicks/popup-menu with SHIFT in Dolphin was a thing. You copy files with CTRL and move files with SHIFT. Otherwise there a popup and additional unnecessary clicks for a basic function that has been in any system since the beginning of GUIs *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Dolphin 2. Press F3 3. Activate Selection Mode 4. Use SHIFT to highlight 50 Files (click firstfile + shift + last file = you know what to do...) 5. Use SHIFT to MOVE files to a different folder in the right pane (F3). 6. Doesn't work. Moving files is BROKEN. OBSERVED RESULT Can't move files with SHIFT in Dolphin while in selection mode. EXPECTED RESULT Reintroduce moving files in Dolphin with SHIFT. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch (not Manjaro) KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.15.8 Qt Version: 6.2.6
Works for me with those exact steps. Can you please attach a screen recording that shows the issue?
