System monitor and system tray not showing network rates.

For me the System Monitor and Plasma 5.25 is missing information about overall network rates, information about network rates per application works fine. This is on a fresh clean install of Kubuntu 22.10 (Kubuntu 22.04 used to show everything OK under ksysguard).

If anyone has any idea how to fix this, it would be great. Possibly related to: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=433258

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open system monitor on the History or Processes tab.
2. Or open networks in the system tray and expand the speed tab + graph.

OBSERVED RESULT
Download and upload rates are 0B/s

EXPECTED RESULT
Should show Download and upload rates

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Kubuntu 22.10
KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.98.0
Qt Version: 5.15.6
Kernel Version: 5.19.0-38-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-4670K CPU @ 3.40GHz
Memory: 31.3 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: llvmpipe

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Places where network information shows OK ✅ and where its broken ❌:
- System Monitor has no upload or download rates under the History / Processes / Overview tabs. 0 B/s always. Hence widgets also show 0 B/s always. ❌
- System Monitor does show my proper Wired connection 1 (this PC only has one network adapter enp4s0) and proper IPv4 ip address. ✅
- System Monitor under Applications tab, each individual app has proper Download and Upload rates. ✅ The details sidebar has proper network usage graphs. ✅
- In my system tray, the Network Connections icon also shows no upload or download under speed tab. ❌ Details tab shows correct information. ✅
- Programs such as nethogs show correct network rates. ✅

I do have PiVPN wireguard server installed on this machine, but the issues persist even with it disabled through sudo systemctl stop wg-quick@wg0.service.

nmcli output:

Thank you for the bug report!

However Plasma 5.25.5 is no longer eligible for support or maintenance from KDE; supported versions are 5.27, and 5.27 or newer. Please upgrade to a supported version as soon as your distribution makes it available to you. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one.

If you need support for Plasma 5.25.5, please contact your distribution, who bears the responsibility of providing support for older releases that are no longer supported by KDE.

If you can reproduce the issue after upgrading to a supported version, feel free to re-open this bug report.

Figured out that the main account when connected through VNC does not have this issue. Think the issue is to do with nomachine so closing as not a bug.
