SUMMARY *** I have upgraded the Kate snap to the latest. Since then I cannot run custom scripts on the built in konsole. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE Try to start any of a number of apps from within Konsole (in kate). e.g. type in the Konsole inkscape gimp latex htop OBSERVED RESULT Nothing happens. EXPECTED RESULT Something happens. In the previous version of the snap I could run custom scripts and start other apps from kate. There was a change related to the snap store release recently, perhaps this is due that?

I think the updates have been fantastic so far. It looks and works amazing. The only problem I have been having thus far is the problem with running almost anything in Konsole. I guess in creating the snap some plug needs to be specified to allow it to run things listed in the PATH.
Can you please update to the recent release 23.04.0 and see if the issue still exists. It will need the --classic flag to install. Thanks Scarlett

My external tools and the spelling checker are working again. Thank you for the help!
