SUMMARY
If you have a HiDPI screen like a 4k monitor/tv/ultrawide, krusader doesn't have visible icons. 


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use a 4k display
2. Open up krusader
3. The icons don't show up

OBSERVED RESULT
See attachment. 

EXPECTED RESULT
Icons still visible.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: 6.2.7-zen1-1-zen
Using Wayland
Krusader version: 2.9.0-dev  gitrev: bd0bf9a9
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.104.0
Qt Version: 5.15.8

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Happens on both an Intel iGPU and an Nvidia GPU. Don't (yet) have access to an AMD gpu.

Actually, seems that this is caused by fractional scaling. I set my display's scale to 100% and it fixed it. It was 125% before.
