Created attachment 157717 [details] The two relevant panels side by side, showing missing option SUMMARY *** With the Application Launcher it's possible to add a text label and/or remove the icon if one desires so it resembles Windows XP or Gnome. This option, however, is not available with the Application Menu (it's also missing with the Application Dashboard FWIW). *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Place Application Launcher widget on a Panel or on Desktop 2. Right click on widget -> 'Configure Application Launcher' 3. Note the options menu that opens has an entry to add a text label 5. Right click on Application Launcher widget again -> 'Show Alternatives' 6. Choose 'Application Dashboard' or 'Application Menu' 7. Right click on widget -> 'Configure Application Dashboard/Menu' 8. Note that there is now no option to add a text label Note: Filed this as 'Minor' instead of 'Wishlist' as the feature being inconsistently available suggests it's an oversight. Apologies if it's the wrong category.
