SUMMARY
When you start Kdenlive with no project or materials open, parts of the Clip Monitor and other uis are white and glitch out when the window is moved with Wayland.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kdenlive with Wayland
2. Move the window around

OBSERVED RESULT
Clip Monitor ui is glitching

EXPECTED RESULT
Clip Monitor ui is grey like on x11 and does not glitch

Should be fixed in git master and 23.04 with this commit:

If possible, try the daily AppImage to confirm:

coredump

For some reason all the build artifact Appimages are coredumping for me. I've attached a backtrace but i think the symbols are missing. Still, glad to hear there is a suspected commit.

The previous crashed on startup if using a Wayland session. This has now been fixed, please test again
