STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. download something with Deluge torrent client
2. when the "finished torrent" appears, wait until it disappears
3. click on the notification applet in the system tray

OBSERVED RESULT
low resolution Deluge icon in the notifications history despite Deluge icon is crisp in the Kickoff menu.

EXPECTED RESULT
crisp icon in the notifications history

This icon is actually something that the app sends. It can send an icon name or it can send a pixmap. If it sends an icon name, then that icon gets looked up in the current icon theme. If it sends a pixmap, then it's up to the app to send one that's high enough resolution to avoid looking blurry.

Are you saying the icon looked good in the notification as a pop-up, but then it became blurry once the notification appeared in the history view?

If so, that would be unexpected and could be caused by a bug in our code. If it was always blurry, then this is a bug in Deluge itself, for not specifying a high enough resolution pixmap.

Ok thanks. So ultimately this is a Deluge bug, and if you want to follow up with the Deluge devs, you can ask them to either send an icon name instead of a pixmap, or else provide a higher-resolution pixmap.
