Move KEmulator's windows until Plasma crashes OBSERVED RESULT Plasmashell freezes and restarts after moving KEmulator window for awhile EXPECTED RESULT Plasmasheel should keep stable and working normally while KEmulator moves keypad window without problems SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.104.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 Kernel Version: 6.2.7-zen1-1-zen (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i3-7100U CPU @ 2.40GHz Memory: 7.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 620 Manufacturer: Acer Product Name: Aspire ES1-572 System Version: V1.17 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Wine version: 8.3 KEmulator version: 1.0.3 Tested on Wayland. Plasma freezes when KEmulator is vibrating on X11 too, but i haven't tested it again on X11 for awhile. Keypad's window wasn't moving last time i tested on X11.
From the trace, kioslave is being told to quit at this point. I suspect it has nothing to do with plasmashell dying, but rather it is a symptom of it. That still means we need a backtrace of plasmashell when it's frozen, please see: https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports#Retrieving_a_backtrace_with_GDB
