SUMMARY Can’t enable Mouse Click Animation desktop effect by effect, it has to be triggered by the keyboard shortcut every time I log in. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Enable Mouse Click Animation desktop effect 2. Notice there’s no option to enable it by default, you have to enable it with the keyboard shortcut 3. Log out and log back in: the effect is gone, you have to enable it again with the keyboard shortcut OBSERVED RESULT Effect cannot be enabled by default. EXPECTED RESULT Effect can be enabled by default. It doesn't persist but it's only meant to be a temporary thing whilst you record a video or do a presentation. Can you expand more on your use case?

I find it mostly practical rather strictly needing it, and I would probably use it all the time if it was more esthetically pleasing. But mostly I think like visual feedback for mouse clicks might be something some people would want all the time, if e.g. their situation makes it hard to assess if they triggered the button of a physical device.
