garbled effect list

SUMMARY
***
As from version 22.12.2 onwards the list with effects is unreadable due to missing characters
With 22.12.1 all is fine, 22.12.2 and 22.12.3, the effects are unreadable
Reset and clean install (installer and standalone) does not help.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. install 22.12.1, observe the list with effects
2. install 22.12.2, observe the list with effects is unreadable

EXPECTED RESULT
I'd very much like to be able te read the names of the effects

Comment 2 Jean-Baptiste Mardelle 2023-04-24 12:17:58 UTC
This was probably a regression related to the version of Qt or KDE Frameworks used in the packaging. Seems fixed with the latest 23.04.04 release, please test.
Comment 3 Arno Rog 2023-04-24 21:30:02 UTC
I'd love to test it. Is there a nightly build (v. 23.04.04) for Windows?
I've downloaded https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_mingw64/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/
It happens to be version 23.07.70
I can conform the problem is not present in version 23.07.70
Comment 4 Arno Rog 2023-05-02 19:49:58 UTC
I can confirm the problem is solved in version kdenlive-23.04.0a_standalone
