SUMMARY If you toggle Present Windows and then bring up Yakuake, it will appear as a thumbnail next to those of other windows' and immediately disappear, disturbing the layout (if mode is set to Natural). If you hold the Yakuake button down, it will flicker in and out this way until you let it go. It's possible to get it to stay visible by doing this, suggesting some form of race. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Toggle Present Windows effect 2. Press Yakuake global shortcut button OBSERVED RESULT 3. The Yakuake window pops in as a thumbnail and immediately disappears EXPECTED RESULT 3. Yakuake shouldn't appear as a thumbnail in a Present Windows effect (or if it somehow should, it shouldn't then disappear immediately after) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Yakuake: 22.12.2 Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro/Arch x86_64 KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Wayland. I have no special window rules for Yaukake. It's difficult to get a screenshot of. I also don't know if this is Yakuake's bug or kwin's, so please reassign it if this is in error.
Thank you for the bug report! Please note that Plasma 5.26.5 will not be supported for much longer by KDE; supported versions are 5.27, and 5.27 or newer. Please upgrade to the latest version as soon as your distribution makes it available to you. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one.
