Created attachment 157759 [details] broken timeline and footages with missing letters in timestamps and titles Not only is the Effect tab showing missing letters. The timeline (and several other places I can't remember) also lacks letters. This happens with the AppImage version running on Fedora 36. However, the UI of the Flatpak version is fine.
Ah sorry, that should be Fedora 37...
I am now using the latest normal release, 23.04.2, on an updated macos OS, Ventura 13.4.1, and the problem has gone away. Thanks Apple, or thanks kdenlive developers :-) @HymanZXC, has an update resolved the issue for you?

Hi HymanZXC -- has any recent update resolved this issue for you? I have just added a comment that the display is now good for me, with new versions of kdenlive and the macos OS. Jim Henderson
Hi Jim, Thanks for letting me know. I just tried the latest version of both AppImage and Flatpak and can confirm that those UI issues have been fixed.
Thanks developers, we can close this issue now.
