Add Firefox as an extra package during setup 3. After install is complete, reboot and check Default Applications for "Web browser" OBSERVED RESULT There was not a default application for the web browser. EXPECTED RESULT Firefox should have been the default web browser. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.2.2-arch1-1 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8

Can you attach ~/.config/mimeapps.list when the system is in this state? I'm wondering if this is the same underlying issue as Bug 305136.

I may have to create a fresh install of Arch to do this. I'll try this soon.
