Description Riccardo Robecchi 2023-03-09 12:24:43 UTC
SUMMARY
I have a Lumix camera which produces RAW image files in the RW2 format, and I store them on an NFS share on a NAS. I have set Dolphin not to create previews of RAW files and to avoid previews of remote files larger than 15 MB. Despite this, Dolphin proceeds to create previews of RAW files shot with my camera. The only way to avoid this is to uncheck the "images (GIF, PNG, BMP...)" item in the list. There seems then to be two issues at play: one is that RW2 is grouped together with images, rather than wit RAW image files; the other is that the limit for file size is ignored.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Uncheck the "RAW Photo Camera Files" item in the "previews" section of Dolphin's settings
2. Open a folder which contains RW2 files

OBSERVED RESULT
The preview for the files is generated anyway.

EXPECTED RESULT
The preview for the files is not generated.
