SUMMARY *** Unable to add specific clock. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Select `+ Add` 2. Try to set a clock for New Zealand, Aukland. Try to search for `kidderminster` (UK town). 3. No results appear - unable to add clock for New Zealand. OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
That city is likely not in the list, we use the official tz database: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tz_database_time_zones
"Auckland" is present, but "Aukland (a misspelling)" is not. "kidderminster" is too small to be included in the city list. Try London. We could probably improve the error message here to say something like "Check the spelling or try searching for the nearest major city."
Created attachment 157251 [details] attachment-481938-0.html Haha ok. This does work, indeed, but the search is quite limited. I searched New Zealand and get to it that way on the plasmoid 'Digital Clock 3.0'. Certainly Kidderminster is not available there also, but the flexibility of searching by country on that Plasma by Martin Klapetek is interesting.
