SUMMARY After updating KDE Plasma to 5.27.2, my touchpad started to have a very high vertical sensitivity and by moving the point stick in any direction, it only moves the cursor to the top right of the screen. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install Arch Linux 2. Install KDE Plasma according to https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/KDE 3. Use touchpad or point stick OBSERVED RESULT Touchpad has a lot more vertical sensitivity than horizontal. Point stick moves the cursor to the top right of the screen when moved regardless the direction it was moved. EXPECTED RESULT Touchpad and Point stick should work as it's supposed to SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux with 6.2.2-arch1-1 kernel, Wayland (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Laptop: Dell Latitude E5450
Possibly related to the high resolution scroll changes in Plasma 5.27? Or it could potentially be a libinput regression that happened to get shipped around the same time as the Plasma update. FWIW I cannot reproduce with the trackpoint on my ThinkPad X1 Yoga gen 4. Any ideas, John?
