Snap search issue.

SUMMARY

While attempting to search for an application that is only shipped from Snap (for instance, Gitea) from the "All Applications" page, Discover returns an error stating that "'gitea' was not found in the 'All Applications' category" with a button to "Search in All Categories." Hitting that button returns a search result.

This issue also occurs when attempting to search from within any categories - Gitea is listed on Snapcraft under the "Development" category, but searching for Gitea from said category returns no result, with the same button to search in "all categories."

Searching from "Home" does not exhibit this issue. I have attached a screen recording to better illustrate this issue.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Open Discover.
2. Click on "All Applications."
3. Search for "Gitea."

OBSERVED RESULT

Discover returns an error stating that "'gitea' was not found in the 'All Applications' category" with a button to "Search in All Categories." Hitting that button returns a search result.

EXPECTED RESULT

Gitea should show up as one of the results.

Can confirm on KDE Neon, Plasma 6.1.5, Discover 6.1.5-0zneon, using the original steps
Searching from Home finds gitea, and then all categories are greyed out including All Applications

With software like Spotify, that have a snap as well as other installation methods, the app can be found under All Applications. Spotify can also be found in Accessories, and Multimedia - but those only show the flatpak

Actually, this is the same as bug 418083. I'm closing this report in favor of that one. Please follow the other bug if you'd like to follow the progress on it.
