+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #466652 +++ SUMMARY *** I use the Android app Aves (https://github.com/deckerst/aves) as my gallery, synced via syncthing to my pc. Aves can tag videos and stores the tags as shown in the 1. attachment. The problem is that these tags don't show up as captions in digiKam. I even tried adding the Xmp.dc.subject namespace for captions under "Configure digiKam → Metadata → Advanced", but that didn't work (detailed settings in the 2. attachment) So I tried copying the tags with ExifTool with this command: exiftool -tagsfromfile taggedWithAves.mp4 "-XMP-digiKam:TagsList<XMP-dc:Subject" "-XMP-microsoft:LastKeywordXMP<XMP-dc:Subject" "-XMP-lr:HierarchicalSubject<XMP-dc:Subject" "-XMP-mediapro:CatalogSets<XMP-dc:Subject" taggedWithAves.mp4 digiKam actually recognises these tags in the ExifTool tab of the Metadata viewer, but not in the Captions viewer. The 3. attachment is the file modified by Avesm the 4. attachment the one edited afterwards with ExifTool. *** SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.99.0 Qt Version: 5.15.7
