Created attachment 156856 [details] Start Kate (no arguments) SUMMARY When using the Kate Session button in the System Tray, selecting "Start Kate (no arguments)" does not start Kate. It acts like when selecting "New Kate Session" and wants a session name entered. This problem has been around for a while I am just now getting around to reporting it. I've sort of adapted, but it is annoying enough to finally report this. :) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Left click on Kate Session Launcher in the System Tray. 2. Select Start Kate (no arguments) (screenshot1) OBSERVED RESULT A box opens for entry of a session, similar to "New Kate Session" and does not start Kate. (screenshot2) EXPECTED RESULT Kate opens a new document. Confirmed. "Start Kate (no arguments)" and "New Kate Session" seem to do the same thing.
