I am not the only one with this issue. See here:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a kdenlive project and add some clips to it.
2. Move the project file to a distinct directory and open the project or a backup of it.
3. Attempt to save, save as, save copy, or archive the project.

OBSERVED RESULT
Kdenlive crashes. Nothing is written to disk.

EXPECTED RESULT
File or archive is saved.
