Discover takes very long to open if rpm-ostree is used. It seems to detect when no updates are needed, but when an update is available, it can freeze the entire internet connection due to how intense rpm-ostrees network consumption is. Please make it possible to disable the fedora repo or system updates in general. Its awesome that it works there now, but not always wished, especially when using Discover only for discovering new Flatpak apps, and managing updates in the evening for example.
Let's focus on the problem rather than rushing to propose a solution, which may not be the ideal one. See https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Issue_Reporting#Proposing_a_solution.
