SUMMARY
When in multi-monitor if scale set to 125% or if one monitor is scaled differntly than the others when using rectangular region all sceens will blank out. You can select an image you just cannot see what you are doing. If all set to any scale other than 125% it works as normal.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  There are two ways to reproduce this bug either set all monitors to 125% scale or have one of three monitors set to a different scale than the rest of the monitors.
2. When you press the shorcut for rectange selection all thre monitors blank out.
3. This only happens at 125% or if all screens are not set to the same scale

OBSERVED RESULT
All screens blank out, you can select an image but you cannot see what you are doing.

Normal screen grab selection operation

I see you reported this bug for 22.08.3. We rewrote the UI for 23.04, so this bug might be fixed now. I have never seen this bug myself though.

I'm marking this as fixed since it's an old version and I can't reproduce this.
