SUMMARY

Ever since the introduction of System Monitor as a replacement for ksysguard it's not a fully functional replacement as there are gaps in data. For example, Application shows ... some applications? I would assume with defined cgroups? Firefox for example does not show cumulative information even though it's available in details, but it also grabs things like steam and webhelper process.

But most importantly the Processes tab show CPU for only selected processes, memory information is missing for some and network and disk activity only for a few processes. ksysguard used to show all this information.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open System Monitor

OBSERVED RESULT

Processes missing CPU and memory information as well as disk and network activity

EXPECTED RESULT

All information is shown for all the processes. At least for own processes.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Thanks for the bug report! Unfortunately this bug reports multiple distinct issues, which will make it not actionable. See https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Issue_Reporting#Multiple_issues_in_a_single_Bugzilla_ticket for more explanation.

Can you ask you to open a new bug report for each specific issue? e.g. one for some processes not showing CPU or memory information, one for not all applications that you would expect appearing on the Applications page, one for steamwebhelper being grouped with Firefox (though this may actually be expected, if Firefox launched that process), etc.

Thanks again!
