It crashes in ImageMagick Metadata Loader. Please try the upcoming digiKam-7.10.0 version if the problem can still be reproduced:

Hi Maik,

Thanks for your response,
can I disable ImageMagick Metadata Loader and what are the consequences?
and do you know when version 7.10.0 comes out?

I really love Digikam, I used AcdSee before, bu Digikam is way better

Ralph

We have a blocking bug about packaging MacOS with mysql database plugin. If you don't use mysql/mariadb as database, you can already use the 7.10.0 pre-release bundle, it safe (only bugfixes)

That did it,
I've tested it the last couple of days,
not one single crash 🤗

Thank you so much
