My workstation has 3 monitors. I have a panel on each monitor display area and I run task manager in each panel. I have each task manager set up the same: - Group by program name - Show textual list - Combine into single button - Show only tasks from current screen, from current desktop, from current activity. I run multiple virtual desktops. Recently I have experienced issues with KDE 5.27 beta getting the monitor setup all mixed up when disconnecting a monitor and reconnecting it. Between this and crashing issue with Firefox, my Firefox windows get shuffled to various virtual desktops and displays. Resorting the Firefox windows is a pain especially when a bunch of them end up in the panel on the wrong display. When that happens I have to open each window individually and drag it to the correct display. Right now Task Manager has the option of Move to Desktop to move a window or group of windows (if grouped by name) to a different VD. I'd like the same thing for moving windows to a different display. So if a group of 20 Firefox windows gets moved to the panel on my side display, I can right click the group in task manager and move them to the center display where they were before my monitors got messed up. ``` Operating System: Fedora Linux 37 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 Kernel Version: 6.1.12-200.fc37.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 24 × AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor Memory: 62.7 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/PCIe/SSE2 ```
Reasonable request to bring it on par with the window decoration menu. For now you can right click on the window decoration and find "move to display" there.
